Join us as we explore all that Nantucket has to offer and meet individuals and organizations that make our island such special place. Adventure Groups do it all. We explore hiking and conservation trails, learning all about the plants and animals that we see. Sail the harbor with Shearwater Excursions, learn about farming with Sustainable Nantucket, learn about Nantucket's whaling past with the Whaling Museum and more. The sky is the limit!
Adventure Groups are offered to participants age five and up. This program is provided with generous support from the Nantucket Fund.

Nantucket S.T.A.R. partners with the Artists Association of Nantucket to provide a welcoming space for participants to create and explore.
Participants meet at the AAN Visual Arts Center on Amelia Drive to explore a
variety of sensory experiences, mediums and creative projects. Stamp, paint, collage, work in felt, explore bookmaking and more!
Sensory Art is open to participants age five and up.
Sensory Art is generously funded by the Nantucket Fund and run in partnership with the Artists Association of Nantucket.

Let's get skating! Stars on Ice welcomes all levels of experience and comfort on the ice, with the goal gaining new skills, making friends, and most importantly having fun. Staff and volunteers welcome each participant at their own level, encouraging comfort and self confidence on the ice. This program is offered to participants ages four and up. Stars on Ice is offered in collaboration with the Nantucket Community Ice Rink.

Join us in the kitchen! Meet us at Corner Table to create something delicious with Chef Kyle of PPX Events and Chef Nicko from GHYC! This program is a fantastic way to learn life skills, safety and hygiene in the kitchen, while focusing on social skills. Participants prepare a meal from start to finish, sharing the prepared meal as a group after cooking. Every participant helps chop, mince, stir, mix and cook. Learn new skills, spend time with friends and share something tasty!
This program is offered to participants ages 10 and up and up.
Chopped is offered with the generous support of the ReMain Nantucket Fund.

Play is the work of childhood! Saturday's with S.T.A.R. provides a developmentally rich environment for children through music, games, sensory exploration, art and play, alongside peers, siblings and caregivers. Saturday’s with S.T.A.R. is a meeting place for parents and caregivers as well, allowing a bit of respite time and opportunities to ask questions about their child’s development, in a non-judgmental and supportive environment.
This program is offered for children ages one through five and their parents/caregivers.
