Let's go Swimming!

Get your bathing suit and towel and let's have fun in the pool!  Meet us at the Nantucket Community Pool located at the Nantucket High School. Instruction and support will focus on basic swimming skills for beginners, and for more proficient swimmers. Skills that will be reinforced include comfort in the pool, treading water, water play, dunking, breathing, and strokes. Ages: 3 and up.  The cost of this program is $65, financial aide is available upon inquiry 

Aquatics is offered through the generous support of the Nantucket Golf Club Foundation.

What better way to spend the afternoon than on the water? Join us as we partner with Nantucket Community Sailing for some fun in the water and on the sand at Jetties Beach. 

 Participants explore kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and more with support from our staff and volunteers.  

Equipment and personal flotation devices are provided and all levels are welcome.

  Adapted water sports is available for participants age five and up.

AWS is offered in collaboration with Nantucket Community Sailing and through the generous support of the Nantucket Fund.

Let's get exploring!

Join us as we explore all that Nantucket has to offer and meet individuals and organizations that make our island such special place. Adventure Groups do it all. We explore hiking and conservation trails, learning all about the plants and animals that we see.    Sail the harbor with Nantucket by Water, learn about farming with Sustainable Nantucket, learn about Nantucket's whaling past with the Whaling Museum and more. The sky is the limit! 

Adventure Groups are offered to participants age five and up.  This program is provided with generous support from the Nantucket Fund.
